I LISTENED TO THE ARCHBISHOP of the new Anglican province in North America last night. In part of his sermon he said that the Church should be exuding. Exude joy, love, and mercy. It's true. That's the mark of the Body as healthy. When I am closest to God, I am so much more naturally joyful, loving and merciful. It spills out all over everyone around me. I've been reprimanded in these time as being "too happy, or something." That is a response I can handle. I am fine with being "too happy, or something." Exuding. It's counter-cultural, its beautiful, it's Life.
